Greetings!
It is our great pleasure to invite you to SCIICON 2026, the 8th Annual National Conference of the Society of Chest Imaging and Interventions, hosted by the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh.
SCIICON 2026 is dedicated to advancing excellence in thoracic imaging and image-guided interventions through robust scientific exchange, cutting-edge innovation, and hands-on learning. Our distinguished national and international faculty will share their invaluable expertise through keynote lectures, interactive case discussions, multidisciplinary sessions, and focused educational forums. The scientific program has been meticulously curated to benefit both experienced and young radiologists embarking on their professional journeys.
Key highlights of this year's conference include three dedicated, high-impact workshops:
- Image-guided thoracic interventions: A comprehensive workshop using state-of-the-art simulation and procedural facilities to bridge the gap between theory and practice, building hands-on technical proficiency while reinforcing the core principles of patient safety and clinical excellence.
- ILD Workshop: A specialized forum focusing on the nuances and evolving paradigms of Interstitial Lung Disease.
- Lung Cancer Workshop: A specialized forum exploring the latest approaches to imaging, reporting, and staging in lung cancer.
In addition to the workshops, delegates can look forward to stimulating scientific presentations, multidisciplinary discussions, quizzes, poster sessions, and opportunities to interact with leading experts from across the globe.
We warmly welcome you to the beautiful city of Chandigarh and to the academic halls of PGIMER. Together, let us celebrate academic excellence, champion innovation, and shape the future of chest imaging and interventions.
